The First Studio City Charity Gala in Markham Ontario was a huge hit with its initial public display at the first annual charity gala weekend headquartered at the Toronto Marriott Markham on Friday & Saturday, April 26th and April 27th.

The sophisticated, state-of-the-art renderings shown of the massive 580,000 square foot campus were on full display for the first time at the Sold Out Gala weekend event.

First Studio City will house the world’s newest and largest single film, television and digital purpose built soundstage known as SuperStage and over 500,000 sq.ft. of much needed studio space.

“The gala response was tremendous. Over 160 people had the opportunity to meet with other industry executives and can now visualize exactly what we have been creating in Markham over the past year ” said Frank Sicoli, Chairman and CEO – First Studio City in Markham Movieland.
